a little St Pat's Day Drabble
The Wearing of the Green
Brian Kinney doesn’t celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Why would he? In his childhood it’d been just another day for his father to spend drinking while his mother escaped to Church.
Brian dismisses St Pat’s Day with the other holidays the straight world seems to need as excuses to party.
But of course with Brian things are rarely as they seem. Justin isn’t surprised to find Brian’s coffee laced with Irish Whisky, or when a half-mocking ‘Macushla’ or ‘Mo Ghrá’ replaces the usual ‘Sunshine’.
And he’s convinced that somehow on St Patrick’s Day Brian’s eyes shine much more green than usual.
